Class Descriptions:
Calorie Blaster ($5) – aerobic exercise with varied intensity sometimes using equipment. May include dance movements, athletic movements and more. NON-MEMBERS MUST PAY $15 PER CLASS
Circuit training – use of weights and other equipment such as jump ropes, cones, mats etc., to create a combination of aerobics and strength training movements.
Mat Pilates-Learn the Pilates method, a total body-conditioning workout requiring concentration and precision of movement. Designed to improve your muscle tone, strength, flexibility and posture, focus is placed on muscular harmony and balance. Classes progress throughout the quarter.
Spinning– stationary biking set to music. You will be directed through a series of different rides within the class, ie: hills, races, flats, steady climbs. Intensity varies and is self directed.
Yoga – yoga movements for strength and flexibility designed to build upper and lower body strength. Class will include movements such as lunges, push ups and lots of abdominal work. May include the use of some equipment.
Tone & Abs–Get a whole body workout with an emphasis on abdominal training. This class incorporates a balanced series of strengthening exercises for the major muscle group using resistance bands. There is no aerobic component.
SAQ (Speed Agility Quikness)-is designed to develop the individual's speed, agility, and quickness skills so they will develop into a more optimal athlete for their particular sport or just to stay fit. With our SAQ program, we will focus on form, technique, and coordination as well as confidence. NON-MEMBERS MUST PAY $15 PER CLASS
